University of Pisa

The University of Pisa (UniPi), officially established in 1343, is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Italy and Europe. At present, the University of Pisa is divided into 20 departments, with approximately 150 first- and second-cycle and single-cycle degree courses, more than 20 doctorate courses, 50 specialisation schools and over 60 master’s degrees. There are more than 1 500 lecturers and slightly more administrative, technical and library staff.
