HMDrive develops a new type of vehicle-driver interface, enabling the use of in-vehicle augmented reality glasses. The use of AR glasses makes it possible to display information inside and outside the cockpit, allowing the driver to remain focused on driving. A first declination of this technology is in the field of sport cars for track experiences: through the glasses it is possible to show ghost cars or reference trajectories directly positioned on the track as if one were in a video game. This application enhances the style and experience of driving on the track. However, HMDrive’s technology is flexible enough to be applied in other application contexts, from the industrial world to road cars.
