On Friday 2 July, at 6.30 pm, in the conference room of the San Filippo Neri Institute, a workshop will be held organized by Unimore, Unife, and by Ecipar, the training body of CNA Modena, where the theme of technologies applied to restoration will be addressed. .
On the occasion, after the greeting from CNA, Francesco Gherardini (Department of Engineering "Enzo Ferrari", Unimore) will talk about 3D digitization and Additive Manufacturing applied to vintage car components, Gian Luca Garagnani (Department of Engineering, Unife) will will focus on the importance of the study and characterization of materials for the conservation and restoration of vehicles of historical interest, and Davide Lorenzone of the Turin Automobile Museum, will present processes and techniques applied to the conservative restoration of vintage cars.
At the end of the workshop, a moment is scheduled for the 22 students (19 men and 3 women) who have followed the IFTS course on the restoration of the bodywork of vintage cars and who will receive the certificates of specialization, useful for finding a place in this area, which, moreover, several students have already done.
