On Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14, “Take Me to the Track” in Piazza Grande: motorcycling, driving courses and the secrets of two wheels with riders and VIP guests
The “Portami in Pista” Sports Association participates in Motor Valley Fest with a booth set up in Piazza Grande on Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. until midnight and Sunday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“Take Me to the Track,” recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee and partner Motor Valley, has always been committed to promoting motoring culture, motorcycle safety and decreasing the number of accidents on the roads and on the track, organizing events and motorcycle riding courses, collaborating with universities and forging synergies with companies and realities in the area.
Inside the booth, where a number of motorcycles set up for track and competition will be on display, members of the “Take Me to the Track” staff will provide useful information on technical riding, the Association’s activities and everything the Motor Valley has to offer motorcycle touring enthusiasts.
In particular, theoretical-practical focuses on safe and sporty motorcycle riding technique will be organized on the topics that prove to be the most popular with the association’s social network followers during the days leading up to the Motor Valley Fest.
The focuses will last one hour and will feature “Take Me to the Track” instructors, all professional riders who compete in the top Italian and European series, answering questions from the audience.
The driver-instructors will then reveal the secrets and curiosities of the Motor Valley circuits, Misano, Imola, Pomposa, Modena, and Varano, with on-board video projections. Racing enthusiasts will be able to discover stories, trivia and anecdotes about the behind-the-scenes of national and international championship races from the direct testimonies of drivers. Not only that, numerous motorcycle influencers are expected as guests during the two days to meet the public and give autographs and photos.
And again, prizes and experiences made in “Take Me to the Track” will be up for grabs for visitors: driving courses, race passes, track days, technical clothing and motorcycle gadgets.
