MOTOR VALLEY FEST – Modena May 2/5, 2024
“The Taste of Piacere Modena at Motor Valley Fest.”
Program of Piacere Modena’s participation within the Motor Valley Fest event representing Modena’s agri-food industry in a combination of synergies between Motor and Food Valley on behalf of the Emilia- Romagna Region’s Department of Agriculture, as has been the case since the first edition in 2019. The target audience chosen for this sixth edition of MVF will be, like last year, the national food, motor and lifestyle communication world. A total of about 10 chosen professionals in these fields are expected.
We will be in presence in the historic center on Piazza Grande, a Unesco site and the heart of the Motor Valley Fest, in a space made available to us by the City of Modena, to engage the target audience of visitors and tourists who will be present at the Festival. It will be the location for activities dedicated to children, teens and adults.

Hall of Representation of the Municipality of Modena “at Enzo Ferrari’s house, between bolts and tortellini”: Organization of a thematic talk show on May 3 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
in the prestigious location of the historic halls of the City Hall, a captivating focus on the untold “food and motor” stories of “Enzo Ferrari’s” home and in the places dear to him, told in the first person by legendary personalities of that time, “guided” expertly by the wit of journalist Leo Turrini, a profound connoisseur of the Enzo Ferrari ego.

Piacere Modena, the taste corner of the Motor Valley Fest in Piazza Grande Modena: realization of a “Fast Car and Slow Food” workshop to experience firsthand the speed of engines through the tracks of cars that have accompanied several generations and taste the fruit of the slowness of our products with a supply chain path and the realization of a perpetual calendar of its own time at the foot of Modena Cathedral with its millennial history. Guided tastings of the PDO and PGI products of the province of Modena and the basket of Tradition and Flavors of the Modena Chamber of Commerce in purity and narration of the history and culture of savoir faire related to them.

Show/tasting offered by the Emilia-Romagna Regional Department of Agriculture as part of the campaign to promote the region’s PDO and PGI products. A focus on products and their traditions, culture and history in a mix of healthy irony and Emilia-Romagna satire.
Tastings and giveaways of Modena’s PDO and PGI products will be distributed to attendees during the event.

- Organization of a press-tour on May 3 and 4 in the companies of the Food and Motor Valley
for about 10 national food, lifestyle and motor communication professionals (journalists and bloggers) for whom hotel accommodation is also provided at the expense of the organizer. The press tour will travel by minibus and will be supervised by our press office Marte Comunicazione and representatives of Piacere Modena.

Friday, May 3

- 4 p.m. visit to the Acetaia Comunale di Modena
Acetaia comunale di Modena, guided tour to discover Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP. The tour will be led by Maurizio Fini, Grand Master of the Consorteria. - 5:00 p.m. Participation in the talk show “at Enzo Ferrari’s house, between bolts and tortellini” provided in point 1.
- 8 p.m. Experiential dinner at Strada Facendo restaurant by chef Emilio Barbieri.
Saturday, May 4
- 8:30 a.m. Departure from Hotel
- 9:00 a.m. Visit to Caseificio 4 Madonne di Lesignana
- 10:45 a.m. visit to MEF Museo Enzo Ferrari – Modena
- 12 noon light experiential lunch among the stalls of the Albinelli Historic Market of Modena
- 2 p.m. transfer to hotel/departure of guests to their respective destinations
Some activities will be carried out in collaboration with the L. Spallanzani Higher Education Institute of Castelfranco Emilia agricultural, food and wine and tourism as a PCTO project.
