As part of their participation in Motor Valley Fest, officials from the Customs and Monopolies Agency will explain the Agency’s institutional activities and mission at the dedicated exhibition space in Matteotti Square. They will provide detailed information on customs and excise regulations, with a focus on fuels and energy products, and present opportunities in import and export.
Inside the exhibition area, officials from the Bologna Chemical Laboratory will demonstrate the analytical techniques and instrumentation used to ensure the quality and legitimacy of fuel dispensed, protecting businesses and citizens. They will display the Raman spectrometer, a state-of-the-art technology to detect potential counterfeit powders, liquids or substances.
Two livery cars of the agency, commonly used in verification activities, will be displayed in the dedicated space.
The opening of the event, scheduled for Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 9 a.m., will be attended by Modena Office Director Angelo Cosimo Castellano.
