Engines, a question of: history, innovation, culture and territory

A workshop to enhance the art of restoring vintage Motor Valley cars

As part of the Motor Valley Fest, CNI Ecipar in collaboration with the “Enzo Ferrari” Engineering Department of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) and the Engineering Department of the University of Ferrara (UNIFE), will organize the workshop ” Engines, a question of: history, innovation, culture and territory “.
Among the speakers will be with us the writer Leo Turrini, Mariella Mengozzi (MAUTO), Matteo Panini (Panini Collection), Cristian Bolzoni (Maserati Classiche).

The event will be followed by the delivery of the certificates of the IFTS course, organized by Cni-Ecipar, “Technician restorer of vintage car mechanics” and the delivery of the FIVA 2021 Culture Award, by Natasa Jerina Grom, Vice President of Fèdèration Internationale des Vèhicules Anciens (FIVA) and Chair of the FIVA Culture and Youth Commission.

The evening will end with an aperitif among the vintage cars on display in the courtyard of the cloister.
Among these, the Maserati A6 1500 will be on display, the brand’s first road car, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.

We remind you that the IFTS course of classic car restorer technician is developed in two courses: one oriented to the restoration of the bodywork – now in its 2nd edition – and one to the restoration of mechanics – the first edition of which ended in December 2021.
The free course is co-financed by the Emilia-Romagna Region and the European Social Fund.

The project, which is standing out among the national educational excellences, boasts the patronage of the most important associations such as ASI – Automotoclub Storico Italiano and AISA – Italian Association for the History of the Automobile, as well as vintage car museums, starting with the Modenese Umberto Panini Collection, Righini Collection and Stanguellini Museum, up to MAUTO – National Automobile Museum of Turin.
