The 2018 edition of Asimotoshow is greatly anticipated: the great event organized by the Italian Historic Automoboclub from 11 to 13 May at the Varano de Melegari circuit. There will be more than 450 motorcycles on the track, divided into the usual categories, as a testimonial of the international history of two-wheelers, with numerous champions present, including the 15-time world champion Giacomo Agostini as well as the official Yamaha Classic Team team. Steve Baker, world champion 750 in 1977, will also be with them, and Hubert Rigal the Monegasque, centaur (in the '70s-80s) then successful driver, today much loved team manager.
The official program includes the arrival and the first laps on the track on Friday 11 May. At 2pm there will be the official opening, attended by the new Dallara road car with the engineer Dallara who will be on track along with the President of the ASI Maurizio Speziali and the local Authorities with sidecars. In the afternoon the first lot followed by an aperitif in the evening at the Varano Castle. On Saturday there will be various initiatives and new series of batteries. On Saturday there is a ladies trip to the Castello degli Scipioni and simultaneously a tour around the Dallara Company. In the evening, the Fans' Dinner will take place and prizes will be awarded. On Sunday there will be other batteries and initiatives at the paddock. The now traditional Parade of Champions, perhaps the most awaited moment ever, this year is free both for participants and for the public, to top off the Asimotoshow 2018
